1917 – The Seattle Metropolitans, of the Pacific Coast League of Canada, defeated the Montreal Canadiens and became the first U.S. hockey team to win the Stanley Cup.

    What a great blast from the past! I think this is one of those if you could go back in time moments and witness the whole thing, what a great experience that would have been!
